Job Summary:

The American Accounting Association is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Accounting to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, conducting research, and providing service to the university and the profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, including financial accounting, auditing, and taxation.
  • Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Provide service to the university and the profession through committee work, conference presentations, and other activities.

Requirements:

  • PhD or DBA in accounting or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Service experience in academic or professional organizations.
