Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food service in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Management: Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality, ensuring that our patients and customers receive the best possible dining experience.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect, and lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments.
  • Menu Development and Planning: Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to develop menus that are in line with market trends and deliver nutritional value, and manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance.
  • Customer and Patient Satisfaction: Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction through communication, integrity, and performance, and drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification: Possess a valid ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Have 5+ years of food operations experience, including 3+ years of management, and experience with cash handling policies and procedures, familiarity with various point of sales (POS)/register systems, and computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
  • Additional Requirements: Be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities, and have a strong understanding of healthcare food service operations and regulations.
