Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal and commercial lines of insurance and be able to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to both personal and commercial insurance clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Policy Administration: Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Claims Handling: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, working closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Underwriting Support: Assist with underwriting and policy issuance, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve customer service and policy administration.
Requirements
  • Licensed Producer: Hold a licensed producer designation in General Lines through the Texas Department of Insurance.
  • Education: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in insurance customer service is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management Systems (AMS-360).
