Our hospital is equipped with a comprehensive surgical suite, advanced digital radiology, dental radiology, cold laser therapy, an ultrasound suite, and a fully operational in-house diagnostic laboratory.

We prioritize the comfort of our patients by offering private suites for many of our services, allowing them to relax and enjoy a less stressful experience during their visit.

Position Overview:


The Animal Care Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean, efficient, and healthy environment for the animals in our care.

A typical day for an Animal Care Technician includes:

1. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, including the kennel area, runs, treatment spaces, and outdoor grounds.

2. Providing meals for boarded animals.

3. Observing and documenting key information regarding the animals' health, behavior, and habits (such as eating and elimination).

4. Walking animals three times daily.

5. Alerting the Veterinarian or Veterinary Assistant to any unusual medical or behavioral issues.

6. Conducting daily cleaning of all areas within the facility.

7. Managing laundry tasks throughout the day and ensuring the laundry area remains organized.

8. Overseeing the inventory of kennel supplies, including food, cleaning materials, and laundry items.


Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned to assist the Veterinarian, Receptionist, and Veterinary Technicians/Assistants in maintaining smooth operations and providing excellent service to our clients.


Qualifications and Responsibilities:
• High School diploma or GED is preferred.

• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong communication abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to handle stressful situations.

• Physical and mental capability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

• Previous experience in an animal care role is advantageous.
