As a seasoned veterinary care technician, you understand the key indicators of success in this field.

  • Safe and proficient patient handling and restraint
  • Understanding of preventive care and vaccination protocols
  • Expertise in emergency and surgical assistance, including IV catheter placement
  • Diagnostic skills, such as radiography, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory procedures
  • Professional and empathetic communication with clients and colleagues
  • Accurate documentation of patient records and client interactions
