Job Title: Production Content Specialist

About the Role:

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Production Content Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content that aligns with our mission and engages our target audience on social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit high-quality videos and photos that communicate our mission and values.
  • Edit long and short-form video projects for social media as needed.
  • Organize and assemble footage, incorporating graphics, effects, and audio adjustments to enhance overall video quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of efficiency.
  • Remain organized and maintain clear project files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in professional videography/photography and editing.
  • Thorough understanding of remote post-production workflows and media management processes.
  • Experience editing quick-turn social media products, as well as long-form story-driven content in Premiere Pro.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable in run-and-gun shooting scenarios as a one-man band.
  • Strong understanding of image composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent knowledge of camera equipment and technology.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, a solutions-based attitude, and the ability to work with people with a diverse skill set and backgrounds.
  • Must have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • Ability to build and manage strong relationships with DoD clients.
  • Must have a valid passport for at least six months.
  • DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Location:

The position will primarily work onsite at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

Compensation:

Expected Salary: $75,000 – $85,000
