Job Summary

The CT Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing a variety of CT scan imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients
  • Obtain consent and prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician or Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification
  • 1 year of experience in a related field
