Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support for the Point of Care Testing program, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate quality control and proficiency activities, ensuring that our laboratory meets the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for testing personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Validate new analyzers and tests, ensuring that they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Write policies and procedures, ensuring that our laboratory operates in accordance with best practices.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in Point of Care Testing, with a proven track record of success
  • Proven experience in training and lecturing, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Experience writing procedures and reports, with a focus on clarity and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting

Compensation:

$60.71/hour - $78.17/hour
