Job Description:
Virginia Family Services is a leading provider of community-based mental health services. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered QMHP-A or C to provide individualized support and guidance to assist individuals with daily life challenges. As a Community Mental Health Specialist, you will work with adults in various settings, providing a range of services including daily living skills training, medication management assistance, independent living skills, and social skills training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and guidance to assist individuals with daily life challenges
- Work with adults in various settings, including community and facility settings
- Develop and implement personalized plans to achieve goals and objectives
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- 1 year of relevant experience providing services in a community or facility setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to complete required documentation within deadlines
- Demonstrated assessment and counseling skills (risk, suicidal, crisis intervention & diagnostic)
- Ability to respond appropriately to aggressive behaviors with the least restrictive interventions
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Proficient personal computer operations skills, including Word and Excel
- Previous case management and documentation-related experience
- Must be a Registered QMHP-A or C

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
