Professor of Comparative Politics

Denison University's Department of Politics and Public Affairs invites applications for a tenure-track position in comparative politics. We seek a scholar with expertise in constitutionalism, policy analysis, or the interaction between social movements and these areas, with a geographic focus beyond the United States or Western Europe.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory courses in comparative politics of democracies and upper division courses in comparative politics broadly and in your area of expertise.
- Contribute to the integration of theoretical and experiential elements of our major.
- Maintain an ongoing research agenda and support the University's commitment to liberal arts education.
- Be an effective advisor to students and an active participant in departmental and university governance.
- Ph.D. in Political Science or a closely-related field by start date.
- Teaching effectiveness and a strong publication record.
