Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team, focusing on training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Estimate food consumption, requisition, and purchase food while maintaining accurate inventory control.
- Coordinate special events, catering, and culinary demonstrations, showcasing expertise and creativity.
- Ensure accurate equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols are in place.
- Directly supervise kitchen personnel, including hiring, performance reviews, and pay increases.
- 8+ years of industry and culinary management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lead in a diverse environment, focusing on client and customer service.
- Previous experience with food and labor cost control, demonstration cooking, menu development, and pricing.
- P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
