Responsibilities:- Directs the setup of banquet tables and areas for banquet functions, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Reviews all function sheets for last-minute changes, guaranteeing that every detail is taken care of.
- Ensures that all guest requests are promptly addressed, providing a personalized experience for each guest.
- Conducts pre-function meetings with staff to ensure the proper service and requirements of banquet functions, working closely with the Banquet Manager.
- Assigns stations to servers, side work functions, and ensures that all duties are completed before each server signs out, maintaining a high level of efficiency.
- Coordinates and supervises all banquet activities to ensure that each course is served in accordance with the banquet event order, exceeding guest expectations.
- Completes final billing and presents to the customer contact for payment, ensuring a smooth payment process.
- Provides prompt, professional, and courteous service during banquet meal functions, serving as the lead server for banquet events.
- Performs tableside or buffet food service as required, maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
- Informs supervisor of guest comments/complaints, providing valuable feedback for improvement.
- Assists banquet associates when needed, supporting the team in delivering exceptional service.
- Assists in the setup and breakdown of banquet functions when business demands are high, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Cleans tables of all glasses, silver, china, etc. during and after banquet functions, maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
- Greets guests and continually monitors to ensure quality guest satisfaction, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Prior banquet supervisory experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and leading a team to success.
