Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Yorktowne Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Captain to oversee the success of our banquet functions and restaurant services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the set-up and breakdown of banquet tables and areas, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Review function sheets for last-minute changes and ensure that all guest requests are promptly addressed.
- Conduct pre-function meetings with staff to ensure proper service and requirements for banquet functions.
- Assign stations to servers, side work functions, and ensure all duties are completed before each server signs out.
- Coordinate and supervise all banquet activities to ensure each course is served in accordance with the banquet event order.
- Complete final billing and present to the customer contact for payment, ensuring all payments are processed by the Front Desk.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service during banquet meal functions, functioning as the lead server for banquet events.
- Perform tableside or buffet food service as required, maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
- Inform supervisor of guest comments/complaints and assist banquet associates when needed.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of banquet functions when business demands are high.
- Clean tables of all glasses, silver, china, etc. during and after banquet functions.
- Greet guests and continually monitor to ensure quality guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to the required uniform standards.
- Prior banquet supervisory experience is essential for this role.
