Unarmed Security Supervisor for Hospitality Sector | Nightlife | Full-Time

Phoenix Prime Security is seeking a qualified Security Supervisor to oversee operations in a vibrant nightlife venue, including hotels, rooftops, and restaurants. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, access management, public safety, and effective leadership of the security team.

The primary duty of this position is to ensure that all security personnel comply with company policies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and performance.

Availability for weekend shifts, extending from afternoon into late night, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the uniforms, equipment, and overall appearance of security personnel to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Ensure that security officers follow established protocols, including access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures.
  • Provide on-site support and guidance to security officers, addressing any violations of policy, performance issues, or training requirements.
  • Accurately document observations and findings, preparing comprehensive reports for each site visit.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and refine company policies, procedures, and training materials based on compliance assessments and industry trends.
  • Work with Human Resources to guarantee that security personnel receive necessary training and certifications to fulfill job requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the security sector or a related field in a supervisory capacity is highly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of security practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail for accurate assessment of officer performance.
  • Effective and professional communication skills with security personnel, clients, and management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize operational needs effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and software for documentation and report generation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in nightlife security supervision.
  • A valid government-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including extended periods of standing with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Availability for weekend and night shifts.

  • Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and be able to pass a physical fitness assessment.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a proven record of punctuality.
  • Possession of a cell phone capable of receiving text messages and accessing the internet.

Compensation and Benefits:
