Security Officer

We are in search of skilled, unarmed security personnel for diverse roles in various environments. Opportunities are available in nightlife, hospitality, residential, and corporate settings, with options for both part-time and full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular and comprehensive patrols around the property’s perimeter and within all interior areas, including parking facilities, to identify and prevent unauthorized access.
- Maintain a prominent presence to instill a sense of safety among residents and deter potential intruders.
- Identify and professionally manage interactions with individuals attempting to access the property, ensuring they are redirected without escalation.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, and maintenance concerns promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Provide first aid and emergency assistance when required.
- Engage with residents courteously and professionally, addressing their security concerns and ensuring their safety.
- Participate in ongoing security training and awareness initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Possession of a valid BSIS Guard Card as mandated by California state regulations.
- Availability to start immediately.
- A minimum of one year of security experience, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
- Ownership of a professional security uniform, including black cargo pants, black boots, and a duty belt. Pepper spray and a taser are preferred, subject to legal compliance and certification.
- Physical fitness for extensive patrolling and capability to manage potential confrontations.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a smartphone and be proficient in using various applications.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and be well-spoken.
Pay is bi-weekly, ranging from $18 to $19 per hour.
