We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Field Security Supervisor to join our team at Allied Universal®. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Security Services: Oversee the delivery of security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are followed.
- Liaise with Site Supervisor and Account Manager: Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, account manager, and professional security officers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Coach and Develop Security Officers: Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to security officers within approved empowerment range, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Uniforms, Equipment, and Supplies: Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, and supplies utilized at the account, maintaining accurate inventories and maintenance checklists.
- Administer Safety Programs: Administer job safety analyses (JSAs) and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for professional security officers on assigned shift, including vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one (1) year paid unarmed or armed security experience within the last three (3) years.
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
- Licensing Requirements: Meet licensing requirements, which are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required prior to employment.
- Background Investigation and Drug Screen: Successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Display exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
- Work Environment: Work in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
- Physical Demands: Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
