Key Responsibilities:


We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Lead Motion Content Strategist to collaborate with the Brand Design Group in the creation, production, and optimization of a variety of content for the Wilson brand portfolio.

The Lead Motion Content Strategist will possess expertise in social media content, with a comprehensive understanding of various platforms and audience expectations.

As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and designing content that effectively communicates our brand stories across all business units.


Core Duties Include:


1. Spearheading the vision and overseeing the creative execution of in-house "moving content" (motion and video) in partnership with Sports ADs, Marketing Teams, Ecommerce Teams, and ECD strategic objectives.

2. Directing the narrative and vision for high-priority campaign-level or social media-focused photo shoots as needed.

3. Leading the in-house Motion and Video content team while developing scripts, treatments, and content series for brand and business unit initiatives, with a strong focus on DTC and Social Media content (both paid and organic).

4. Collaborating with Brand Agencies to produce content for significant brand initiatives and key moments.


Expertise Required:


5. Serving as the in-house expert on moving content, fostering innovative and resourceful approaches to content production, creator networks, and editing.

6. Identifying emerging trends and opportunities within social media, quickly generating and presenting content concepts that align with our brand identity.

7. Partnering with copywriters and designers to bring creative ideas to fruition, ensuring authentic representation across all social channels.

8. Researching and proactively suggesting new ideas and solutions for the Wilson brand portfolio.

9. Utilizing photography, videography, design, and platform tools to create diverse content, including social media posts/stories and assisting with comprehensive video and photo shoots.

10. Staying informed about developments in the sports industry to capture real-time and trending moments, editing content efficiently.


Qualifications:


This position requires an associate or bachelor's degree in a creative discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in design or content creation. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A passion for sports is advantageous.


Additional Skills Include:
• A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of high-quality social content for internal or external clients, with a strong emphasis on digital and social media content creation.
• Extensive experience managing creative projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and best practices for all social media platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to produce engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Strong skills in visual storytelling, videography, and video editing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with the capacity to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for effectively presenting information and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, remain flexible with work hours, and meet multiple deadlines.
