Position Overview
The Senior Client Relations Associate is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to product offerings, services, and any arising issues. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of a vast product range, including over 20,000 items across three catalogs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for orders and quotes through various communication channels, ensuring adherence to departmental service standards.
- Deliver personalized customer service to designated accounts, managing them effectively, which includes order tracking, data analysis, and follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns, including processing credit adjustments when necessary.
- Investigate order discrepancies, mediate conflicts, and develop standard operating procedures for long-term solutions.
- Handle escalated customer interactions with professionalism.
- Research and propose alternative products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Utilize a computerized system for tracking inquiries, gathering information, and troubleshooting issues.
- Leverage in-depth product knowledge to address specialized inquiries.
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members as needed.
- Assist in system testing to ensure operational efficiency.
Work Environment
This position is based in a comfortable indoor setting, with minimal exposure to unpleasant conditions. The majority of the work involves sitting comfortably, with occasional opportunities for movement. Light lifting may be required on rare occasions, and travel is not necessary.
Qualifications
A technical certification or associate degree may be required in specific areas, along with 5-7 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
