Position Overview:

This position involves the upkeep and enhancement of essential engineering tools, delivering technical support across various teams, overseeing repair and lifecycle management projects, and ensuring precise documentation of processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and routine assessments of engineering tools, software, and inspection devices; coordinate annual servicing with external vendors.
  • Provide cross-departmental technical support, troubleshoot engineering challenges, and prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) for product modifications.
  • Lead repair and lifecycle management initiatives, collaborating with the R&D team to facilitate product improvements.
  • Update and maintain Global and Local Work Instructions (GWIs and LWIs) to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Define project scope, budget, and timelines; execute design calculations, coordinate project activities, and document design specifications.
  • Engage in or lead lean and six sigma improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and foster continuous improvement.

You communicate effectively in diverse settings, whether in one-on-one discussions, small groups, or larger assemblies. You are adept at organizing tasks into efficient workflows and are proactive in seeking new technical skills and knowledge that can enhance both business and personal performance.

Qualifications Required:
  • A minimum of 1800 hours of technical education or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Technical Degree.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually, based on the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
