Role Summary

We are actively seeking an Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and enhancement of our sophisticated data products. Collaborating with a talented team, you will focus on delivering exceptional user experiences and innovative problem-solving tools tailored to our clientele. Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor engineers in their professional growth while fostering high-quality technology development across our application stack.
  • Promote a culture centered on learning, ongoing enhancement, and psychological safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to refine processes and enhance the Developer Experience for our engineers.
  • Work alongside Agile Software Development teams and client experts to ensure successful software project delivery.
  • Expand and nurture the Engineering Team by attracting, hiring, and retaining motivated engineers who are passionate about solving client challenges.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in an Engineering Leadership role, demonstrating a servant leadership approach and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A minimum of 5 years managing small teams and developing complex products within an agile framework.
  • Proven hands-on experience in software development.
  • A strong commitment to enhancing efficient software development practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring others.
  • A successful track record of collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver outstanding products.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies, particularly Kanban.
  • Experience with Lean Software Development, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is advantageous.
  • Background in the energy sector or experience in equities/commodities trading is a plus.
