Job Title: Service Department Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Department Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and motivate staff to provide quality service to all customers
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for branch service and sales personnel
  • Inspect termite and pest control work to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain current awareness of customer service levels and take corrective action as needed
  • Take responsibility for servicing pest routes when necessary
  • Maintain inventory and ensure accurate tracking of customer information

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 or 4 year degree strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Knowledge of dry chemicals and pesticides
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This role requires the ability to move up to 10 pounds regularly, and 11-20 lbs frequently, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Exerting up to 50 lbs of force to move objects is also required.
