Banquet Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team at Hotel Northland. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring that every detail is taken care of and that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze banquet event orders and communicate effectively with customers, managers, and associates to ensure that all room setups, equipment, supplies, staffing, and menus meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Review all schedules, equipment, supplies, and organize workflow to ensure a quality event to customers on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and control banquet budget, including labor costs, beverage costs, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate with event budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while providing quality guest service.
  • Implement company programs and resolve daily operational problems through consistent monitoring of banquet operations to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, procedures, and to ensure an optimum level of service, quality, and hospitality.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Full-time employment.
  • No management experience required.
