Health Unit Coordinator Inpatient Rotating Schedule

We are seeking a skilled Health Unit Coordinator to join our team in an inpatient rotating schedule. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional customer service, coordinate care, and ensure the smooth operation of our unit.
Responsibilities- Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and nursing staff
- Coordinate care assignments and prioritize unit needs
- Process physician orders and maintain accurate records
- Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care
- High school diploma required; certificate or degree in Health Unit Coordinator/Medical Secretary preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a Health Unit Coordinator or Medical Secretary role
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
