Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at SMS. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the small to medium-sized business sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
  • Conduct in-depth research on potential clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, presidents, and CEOs to establish trust and credibility
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales plans and strategies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and ability to uncover the real 'pain' a client might be experiencing
  • Ability to begin work immediately
