The individual in this position must possess the capability to finalize sales effectively. Key Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Sales Account Executive include, but are not limited to: Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor toward clients Respond swiftly to client inquiries Interact with clients and suppliers through various communication channels Acknowledge and address client complaints Participate in sales and product training sessions Process orders and quotations within the business system Assist clients with vendor portal navigation Keep detailed records of client interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints Coordinate with colleagues, clients, and suppliers as necessary Articulate and explain product features and applications Recommend products to clients based on their needs Conduct outbound calls to clients and follow up on quotations and leads Identify client needs and recognize sales opportunities Maintain a database of existing and potential clients Provide clients with product submittal sheets for approval and monitor their progress Close sales and meet sales objectives Perform additional duties and projects as assigned Required Competencies: Service Excellence Results-Driven Accountability and Responsibility Active Listening and Understanding Others Problem-Solving Skills Team Collaboration Effective Priority Setting Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, sales, or distribution Education: High School diploma or GED Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or computer systems Organizational Skills: Strong work ethic; effective verbal and written communication skills Cross-Functional Skills: Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced setting Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels; provide outstanding internal and external customer service; experience in handling escalated client requests; negotiation skills Physical and Mental Requirements: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
