Position Summary

The role of the supervisor necessitates exceptional communication abilities, multitasking skills, and a commitment to completing administrative duties. This position is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations while ensuring our service standards are upheld for guests. Adherence to the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOPs) is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster positive relationships with customers to achieve 100% satisfaction.
  • Facilitate daily and monthly training sessions for staff.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Address employee-related matters and provide documentation and counseling as needed.
  • Explain and uphold departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Manage supply orders effectively.
  • Utilize the Refine computer program to update pricing and descriptions.
  • Perform daily checks of the bar to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and stock levels meet standards.
  • Guarantee food quality through proper presentation, portion control, and timing.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings.
  • Conduct monthly inventory assessments for food and liquor.
  • Assist the manager with daily operations.
  • Ensure staff punctuality, grooming, and adherence to uniform standards.
  • Support the manager in employee training initiatives.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • A High School Diploma is mandatory; an Associate's Degree is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of two years in a high-volume restaurant setting is required.

  • Effective communication with employees, managers, and guests through verbal means.
