The District Manager is integral in overseeing the operations across various locations within a specified district. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of field employees within the district, setting performance expectations and conducting evaluations.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee the district budget, including forecasting and controlling costs to meet financial goals.
  • Coordinate the activities of the outside plant telecommunications team, ensuring performance reviews are conducted.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly, directing resources as necessary.
  • Evaluate work processes and collaborate with staff to identify and implement improvements.
  • Assess service delivery methods to enhance efficiency and recommend appropriate staffing levels.
  • Participate in professional meetings to stay updated on trends in telecommunications and propose relevant innovations.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for network operations.
  • Oversee the service vehicle fleet.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in construction, telecommunications, or utilities.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Strong project management skills including planning and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.).

Additional Information:

  • This role may require on-call availability and response to emergencies outside regular hours.
  • Travel may be necessary within the designated area.
  • Work will be conducted in various environments, both indoors and outdoors.
