About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Route Sales Professional to join our team at Bimbo Bakeries USA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise, stock, and maintain the rotation of products on store shelves and displays to ensure the best quality and freshness of products.
- Drive sales through the acquisition of new display space, incremental displays, and by using sales data to establish store-level plans.
- Build effective customer relationships, follow up on new account opportunities, and ensure promotions are executed.
- Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when soliciting new customers.
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts.
- Drive company route trucks safely and complete DOT (US Department of Transportation) daily logs and submit other documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
- 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
