Job Summary

We are seeking a Guest Service Associate to join our team. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, lottery tickets, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete shift reports, ensuring that all tasks are completed and records are up-to-date.
  • Clean and maintain the store, including windows, floors, bathrooms, and trash containers.
  • Stock shelves and coolers, ensuring that products are properly displayed and rotated.
  • Sweep and mop floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Conduct gasoline tank inventory, taking accurate readings and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Check product in as it is delivered from vendors, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly stored.
  • Perform yard maintenance, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting, as needed.
  • Perform light equipment maintenance, including pumps, lighting, and machinery, as needed.
  • Merchandise products, ensuring that they are properly displayed and rotated.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including communicating with associates and guests, and counting, reading, and writing accurately to complete required paperwork.
Requirements
  • Wear the required store uniform.
  • Be available to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Attend mandatory meetings, including T.A.M. and sexual harassment training.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently bend, reach, and lift objects weighing 1 to 15 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reach above shoulder height and bend below waist.
  • Be able to freely access all areas of the store.
  • Move quickly around the store.
