The Gastrointestinal Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving profitable growth within a designated region, focusing on specialized sales of our Gastrointestinal and Gastro Urology laboratory testing services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales targets while supporting the AmeriPath/Quest practices.
• Collaborate closely with core AmeriPath/Quest divisions, which encompass clinical, hereditary cancer testing, and tissue services across various call points.
• Cultivate sales within the assigned territory through strategic targeting, pipeline development, and business growth initiatives, including new lead generation and account management.
• Utilize productivity and marketing tools effectively throughout the sales process.
• Engage with GI, GU, Surgery Centers, Endoscopy Centers, and Endocrinologists to support local AmeriPath/Quest practices.
• Take ownership of clinical testing in the call points, which includes hereditary genetic solutions (e.g., GI and Lynch Syndrome, GU and BRCA).
• Partner with PAE to deliver clinical solutions.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
• A minimum of five years in laboratory, diagnostics, or medical sales.
• Proven track record in medical sales success.
• Experience in selling to healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Strong understanding of sales processes.
• In-depth knowledge of anatomic pathology, oncology, molecular oncology, gastrointestinal, gastro urology, and related cancer testing services.
Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry and the economic principles that govern it.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
