Guest Service Representative

The Guest Service Agent is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities- Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Process all cash and credit card transactions accurately, adhering to established procedures and maintaining the security of cash and credit card transactions.
- Responsible for maintaining the security of guest information and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and alcohol services.
- May book guest reservations, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates, and up-sell rooms to maximize revenue.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, with mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
