Job Title: Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisor

Capital One is a leading financial institution seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Risk Management (TRM) organization, you will play a critical role in assessing and enhancing our cybersecurity and technology risk posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the identification and assessment of enterprise-level technology and cybersecurity risks
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans to address identified risks
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop and deliver reports on assessment results
  • Work closely with associates in Cyber, Technology, and other risk management offices to perform evaluations of our risk posture
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 6 years of experience managing, consulting, or auditing
  • At least 6 years of experience working in information security, technology, or risk management
  • Professional security management certification (CISSP, CISA, or CRISC)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in a second-line or oversight role at a financial institution or regulatory agency
  • Knowledge of supervisory expectations expressed in the FFIEC IT Handbook, Federal Reserve Supervisory Letters, and other regulatory guidelines
