ASIC Design Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled ASIC Staff Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and verifying complex digital and analog circuits for our high-performance, low-power products.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement hierarchical blocks of the DDR/system cache subsystem using Synopsys Fusion Compiler.
- Work with RTL designers to manage complex power intent and troubleshoot UPF issues in synthesis.
- Manage timing constraints and run Conformal Low Power Checks on final netlists.
- Run Power Aware Conformal Logic Equivalency Checks and STA on final netlists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine product execution paths and evaluate manual and tool-generated functional eco.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hardware engineering experience or related work experience.
- Proficient in running Physical synthesis with Synopsys Fusion Compiler, Cadence Conformal Low Power checks, and STA with Synopsys PTSI.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years of hardware engineering experience or related work experience.
