Job Title: ASIC Staff Engineer

Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled ASIC Staff Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and verifying complex digital and analog circuits for our high-performance, low-power products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement hierarchical blocks of the DDR/system cache subsystem using Synopsys Fusion Compiler.
  • Work with RTL designers to manage complex power intent and troubleshoot UPF issues in synthesis.
  • Manage timing constraints and run Conformal Low Power Checks on final netlists.
  • Run Power Aware Conformal Logic Equivalency Checks and STA on final netlists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine product execution paths and evaluate manual and tool-generated functional eco.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of hardware engineering experience or related work experience.
  • Proficient in running Physical synthesis with Synopsys Fusion Compiler, Cadence Conformal Low Power checks, and STA with Synopsys PTSI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of hardware engineering experience or related work experience.
