Job Summary

Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled Low Power ASIC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Group, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, low-power ASICs for various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop low-power, high-performance ASICs using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet performance, power, and area (PPA) targets.
  • Analyze and optimize power consumption using tools such as PowerArtist and PrimeTime PX (PTPX).
  • Develop and maintain power analysis, optimization, and modeling methodologies and flows.
  • Work with design teams to optimize and keep power on target throughout the project cycle.
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on experience in power analysis, estimation, and optimization using industry-standard tools.
  • Strong knowledge of low-power, high-performance ASIC design flows, including micro-architecture, RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing/STA, UPF, CLP, LEC formal verification, DFT, and physical design.
  • Hands-on experience in writing scripts for automation and data analysis (Shell, Perl, Tcl, Python, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis and data science a plus (Pandas, Numpy, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
