We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Civil Engineer II to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.
About the Role:This is a great opportunity for an EIT-Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects creating land development plans for our commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria for land development projects
- Participating in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utility infrastructure utilizing relevant office software, modeling and CADD technology
- Compiling submittals to State, Municipal, and other agencies and contributing to the development of more complex submittals
- Facilitating effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders and team members
- Leads the work of CADD Technicians in order to complete design details
- Performs research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of project work or inspection
- A candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in a relevant discipline
- A candidate with 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience
- A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in Civil3D is preferred
- Must have received, or receive within six months of hire, a valid E.I.T. license

The expected compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $95,652.00 per year, based on a number of factors, including individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.
