About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at CONSOR Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building skills in innovative modeling tools and collaborating with our team to develop design plans and specifications for bridge hydraulic and scour mitigation, coastal design, utility master plans, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze rainfall, flow, and operational data for trends and applicability in modeling.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for model development, calibration, scenario planning, and options analysis.
  • Manage tasks and work with small multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and work directly with public works staff.
  • Write technical memorandums, engineering reports, and planning studies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited school.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in bridge scour evaluations, water distribution, and/or sewer collection system modeling.
  • Strong background in closed conduit, open channel hydraulics, and pump station operations.
  • Background in analyzing flow monitoring and rainfall data.
  • Proven technical report writing skills.
  • Proficient with modeling software similar to HECRAS.
  • Ability to utilize GIS for analysis, model integration, and figure generation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a level of attention to detail.
