About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in project management, team leadership, and technical expertise. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

This is a hybrid work schedule position, requiring in-office work in Honolulu, Hawaii. The selected candidate must be available to work in Honolulu, Hawaii on a scheduled basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of technical concepts and designs
  • Prepare documents, including reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Oversee project tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality projects
  • Provide technical input to studies and design
  • Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work
  • Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
  • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts
  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings
  • Prepare technical specification sections
  • Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Demonstrated experience working on site/civil design projects
  • Experience preparing calculations and design documents (reports, plans, specifications)
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering and building development projects
  • PE license in Civil Engineering
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models
  • Experience with permitting site/land development projects
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and organizing tasks and teams in a deadline-intensive environment
