Job Title: Financial Representative

About the Role:

The Financial Representative is a key position at Western & Southern Life, responsible for meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop marketing strategies to reach middle-market clients.
  • Prospect and network with potential clients to build relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Conduct sales, conservation, and service appointments with clients to provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Prepare for appointments through established processes and utilize Western & Southern Life consultative practices.
  • Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients.
  • Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities to meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain community relationships to strengthen the Western & Southern Life brand.
  • Maintain accurate client and company records.
  • Operate an automobile during business hours.

Qualifications:

  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and understand financial products.
  • Ability to influence others to take needed action.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and resilience to achieve goals.
  • Willingness to network for new clients.

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Computer Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of internet and email.

Certifications & Licenses:

  • State Life and Health license prior to hire.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.

Position Demands:

  • Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
