Financial Services Representative

Job Summary:
The Financial Representative is responsible for meeting the middle-income client needs for risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation. This role involves educating clients, analyzing their needs, and recommending solutions in an ethical and client-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Development: Identify market opportunities and develop effective marketing plans to reach middle-market clients.
- Client Acquisition: Prospect and network for new clients, identifying qualified leads and making initial contacts.
- Sales and Service: Contact and secure appointments with prospective and existing clients to provide financial solutions.
- Preparation and Consultation: Prepare thoroughly for appointments using established processes and consultative practices.
- Solution Selling: Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients.
- Time Management: Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for the week and foreseeable future.
- Brand Development: Market the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level to develop a strong presence.
- Community Engagement: Develop community relationships to cultivate and strengthen the company's presence in target markets.
- Client Maintenance: Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are being met.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.
- Integrity: Demonstrate a high level of integrity in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Work Ethic: Exhibit a strong work ethic, including willingness to work weekday evenings and weekend hours.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.

- Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as internet and email.
- Certifications and Licenses: Obtain and hold State Life and Health license prior to hire, and FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
- Automobile and Driver's License: Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
