Job Title: Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at InterCare Health Network. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting, working in partnership with healthcare providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe and effective patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote patient health and well-being.
  • Work in partnership with healthcare providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe and effective patient care, including collaborating with providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including setting goals and objectives, and implementing interventions to promote patient health and well-being.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching patients about their medical conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare staff to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan.
  • BLS Certification, to be completed within two months of employment.
  • Proficient in customer service and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including collaborating with healthcare providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • Strong understanding of nursing practices, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Working Conditions

The Clinical Nurse will work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff, and provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.
