Position Overview

Position Summary:

This role involves assisting members and healthcare providers primarily through phone communication in a call center setting. The individual will be tasked with addressing both verbal and written inquiries in a timely, precise, and impartial manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inquiries and perform research as needed.
  • Execute data entry and typing assignments efficiently.
  • Engage effectively with members, healthcare providers, and team members through various communication methods.
  • Apply analytical and organizational skills for independent decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service or an office setting.
  • Experience in data entry and typing is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills, with the capacity for independent decision-making.
  • Willingness to spend approximately 90% of working hours on the phone and remain seated for extended periods, with scheduled breaks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 9 months of customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with various business lines, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn swiftly and adapt to changes.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who can meet specific testing criteria.
