Legends is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our hospitality team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in the oversight of all culinary operations, including production, sanitation, and stewarding.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Monitor food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as Legends' high standards for quality and service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service food operation.
- Proven track record of improving kitchen efficiencies, quality, and costs.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- Must be able to obtain Food Protection Manager Certification.
