We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Nurse to join our team of compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals. As a Clinical Trials Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clinical trials program. This is a full-time position working within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model. Key Responsibilities Include:

- Facilitating accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials

- Coordinating patient care activities and participating in the conduct of studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials for multiple services including medicine and radiation oncology

- Educating patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial

- Providing direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and support to patients enrolled in clinical trials

- Collaborating with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective, and participating in multidisciplinary discussion for approval

- Implementing the standards for research protocols in compliance with regulatory, institutional and external agencies

- Acting as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a current RN license in New York State and/or New Jersey. Three years of clinical nursing experience, with 2-3 years of medical oncology experience, is required. Clinical research nursing experience is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency with clinical and office software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and hold current BCLS certification.
