Position Summary:
- Deliver comprehensive support for Windows operating systems, software applications, and hardware components in a corporate setting.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy IT equipment to end users while adhering to industry best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues efficiently.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and manage mobile devices and audio/visual technology.
- Assist with VPN and VDI connectivity issues.
- Utilize knowledge base articles to guide troubleshooting processes.
- Manage tasks through ticketing systems effectively.
- Work collaboratively and independently to prioritize and complete assignments with minimal oversight.
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Provide Smart Hands support for remote resolver teams.
- Oversee inventory management of IT assets, including conducting audits.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
- A+ Certification preferred.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is advantageous.
- Understanding of Windows architecture, including file permissions and structure.
- Experience with Mac/Apple systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts, such as Active Directory and domain trust relationships.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate deskside support or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced, challenging support scenarios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Experience with computer imaging software and data migration tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
- Knowledge of endpoint protection and encryption technologies (e.g., Bitlocker).
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license is necessary.
- Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Exhibit professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a tidy and professional workspace in accordance with company policies.
- Pass standard drug screening and background checks.
- Adhere to assigned work schedules.
