Job Title: Perishable Department Associate

Food Lion is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Perishable Department Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our perishable products are displayed and sold in a way that meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the perishable department and surrounding areas
  • Ensure that perishable products are displayed and sold in a way that meets Food Lion's high standards
  • Process and prepare perishable products for sale, including receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
