We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at MedCenter High Point ER. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and promote positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to patients in the emergency department, ensuring that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
- Analyze patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Evaluate patient response to interventions and identify additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (required); 1 year in a clinical specialty (preferred).
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state (required); BLS (CPR) certification (required).
