About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join our Growth Consulting team at Amazon. As a Business Developer, you will play a critical role in driving Seller growth by working closely with our Sellers to understand their business needs and develop strategic plans to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and form relationships with existing Sellers and Brands using your sales acumen and deep understanding of Seller Central.
  • Collaborate with Sellers to identify opportunities to grow their businesses through multiple topics, including optimizing selection, creating new products based on customer signals, building advertising keyword strategies, and other operational improvements.
  • Collect Seller feedback on our tools to deliver insights to Product team leaders, perpetually improving the Experience of our Sellers.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and leadership to drive Seller growth and adoption of our Growth and Analytics tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise-class sales experience, preferably in the eCommerce, retail, technology, SaaS, or software industries.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in outbound prospecting or telephone sales qualifying with companies.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Proficient with Seller Central and Microsoft Excel.

  • Proven ability to influence others.
  • Experienced Written Communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • Seller-Focused.
  • Creative, has initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of their Sellers internally.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market.
