Government Agency Business Development Manager

Federal Government Software Sales is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team and help us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers at federal agencies, identifying opportunities for new business and account expansion.
- Collaborate with customers and procurement teams to navigate complex contract vehicles and pricing strategies.
- Respond to and manage RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, building competitive proposals to secure new business.
- Drive sales through phone, virtual meetings, and in-person engagements with agency representatives.
- Manage the sales process end-to-end, including building business cases, submitting proposals, and coordinating internal workflows.
- Use CRM tools to document activities, prepare quotes, process orders, and track sales performance.
Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
Job RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in direct federal government sales, with a focus on software, hardware, or technical solutions.
- Experience selling to federal agencies, including Civilian, DoD, or IC, is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills, including confidence, tact, and business acumen.
- Ability to learn technical product features quickly and articulate competitive advantages effectively.
- Proven time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, or similar platforms)
