Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team at MaineHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Collect and verify patient information, entering it into our system to ensure accurate records.
  • Monitor and respond to patient inquiries, providing timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
