Job Summary

The Client Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling engineering projects from concept through design and construction. This role ensures project goals and objectives are accomplished and quality standards are met within established timeframes and funding constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing to new and existing clients
  • RFP, RFQ, and other proposal preparation
  • Maintaining integrity-based client relationships
  • Maintaining and updating design budgets
  • Collaboration with the Project Accountant on invoicing and collections
  • Managing change orders for additional services
  • Industry knowledge of design documents associated with Civil/Site/Land Development, Public Works stormwater projects, and/or Public Works utility projects
  • Managing projects through entitlement and design process, including collaboration with Project Leads and the design team
  • Meeting company performance metrics
  • Active participation in professional organizations
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Business development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
  • Active Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • At least 10 years of related experience
Work Environment

Normal office environment. Infrequent visits to field sites and client offices as necessary. This is not a remote position.
